Walmart shoppers are complaining that stores are running out of iPhones as Black Friday sales begin (WMT)

Walmart

  • Walmart shoppers reported a shortage of iPhones within the stores on Black Friday.
  • The retailer previously touted a number of in-store, iPhone-related bargains.
  • Walmart customers took to social media to complain.

Walmart shoppers flocked to the retail giant on Black Friday, expecting top in-store deals on high-ticket items.

But some Walmart customers seeking bargains on iPhones were sorely disappointed.

The Verge reported that the retail giant previously touted specific iPhone deals, including a $300 Walmart gift card with the iPhone XS, XS Max, and iPhone XR and a $400 Walmart gift card with the iPhone X, 8, and 8 Plus. To get the gift cards, the iPhones had to be activated on AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon payment plans.

But shoppers took to social media to say that their attempts to purchase iPhones at the retailer's Black Friday in-store event didn't go too smoothly. In fact, a number of customers said that their stores only carried a handful of iPhones in total.

Other prospective shoppers asked for guidance on which stores are still carrying certain iPhones.

A Walmart spokesperson has not yet responded to Business Insider's request for comment. Walmart's website did not appear to be advertising the deals as of Thanksgiving evening.

Walmart is trying desperately to contain the Black Friday chaos by creating what customers are calling a 'maze' — but photos reveal a wild shopping fiasco (WMT)

  • Walmart has attempted to calm the chaos ofBlack Friday with new maps and rearranged stores.
  • However, inside the stores, things look as crowded and hectic as ever on Thursday evening.
  • Some shoppers are complaining that Walmart's creation of a "maze" is making Black Friday shopping take even longer.

Black Friday at Walmart looks just as wild as ever, despite the retail giant's best attempts at calming the chaos.

Every year, Walmart makes certain tweaks to its Black Friday game plan, in an attempt to better deal with the crowds that mob its stores starting on Thanksgiving Day.

This year, adjustments include rearranging stores to better funnel customers to check-out and to highlight popular items. The new arrangements mean new color-coded maps, printed in Walmart's circulars and — for the first time — available for reference on Walmart's app. To avoid lines, customers can check out with certain employees throughout the stores.

Unsurprisingly, the revamp hasn't fully solved the Black Friday chaos. A look at social media reveals that Walmart stores across the US — which kicked off sales at 6 p.m. — are as crowded and intense as ever.

Some shoppers are specifically targeting the "maze" that Walmart has created as part of the problem.

However, at least one Walmart Black Friday innovation this year has been welcomed with open arms. "Check Out With Me," which allows employees in the busiest sections of its stores to check out shoppers with mobile devices, is a hit with customers — if they can find the workers.

Still, for the most part, chaos — or at least crowds — reigned at Walmart.

Microsoft's Surface Go is one of the best work-focused tablets — and it's currently $50 off for Black Friday

microsoft surface go

Gone are the days when Microsoft was a software company and that's it.

These days, the company releases excellent hardware on a yearly basis, and that hardware has been well-reviewed and much-loved. This year, Microsoft took the wraps off of three new mobile computers — including the Surface Laptop 2, Surface Pro 6, and the new Surface Go. We've already taken a look at the previous two devices, so now it's time to take a look at the Surface Go.

The Microsoft Surface Go is the smallest and least powerful of the three new devices, but it's also the cheapest — making it one of the better choices for a portable computer in its price-range. Notably, it's far cheaper than the new iPad Pro, yet it still runs a desktop-class operating system, Windows 10, albeit with less processing power.

Is the Microsoft Surface Go the way to go for those looking for a relatively powerful device they can take on the road with them?

Surface Go 4

At first glance, the Microsoft Surface Go looks like a Microsoft device. That's to say, it carries many of the same characteristics as other Surface devices, like the infinitely adjustable kickstand on the back, plus if you opt for the keyboard accessory ($100), it boasts the same Alcantara feel around the keyboard, which is looks and feels great.

When it comes to ports, however, things are a little different. You will find the same type of magnetic charging port as other Microsoft devices, which is pretty nice, although we do wish Microsoft would just go for the more universal USB-C port. Speaking of USB-C, there's one on the right side of the device — essentially meaning that it has more modern ports than the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop. Above that, there's a headphone jack — thankfully.

The overall design of the Surface Go isn't bad, but in an age of slimming bezels, it does look slightly dated, especially when you use it in tablet mode. The keyboard, however, helps make it look a little better, plus the design doesn't really have an effect on the power under the hood. The device itself is only available in one color, but you can buy the keyboard in a few different colors, which is nice. We got the matching gray one, and quite liked it.

The display on the device is pretty nice, but it won't blow any minds like the display on the Surface Pro or Surface Laptop might.

It has an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 1,800 x 1,200. That's noticeably less than the new 10-inch iPad's display, which comes in at 2,048 x 1,536. That's not to say the display is bad — it's not. Just don't expect to get the best 10-inch tablet display out there.

Surface Go 5

While this is a Windows 10 device, it runs Windows 10 S rather than Windows 10 Home.

That means there are a few limitations to it — including that you can only run apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store app. For many, that won't be such a big deal — especially those who really only need the device for web-browsing, typing in Microsoft Word, and so on. For others, however, that may be a deal breaker. Thankfully, you can switch the device to Windows 10 Home — though if you decide to do that, keep in mind that things like battery life and overall performance may suffer a little.

Under the hood, the Surface Go isn't bad, but don't expect a powerhouse.

The base model comes with a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You can upgrade it from there, however, all the way up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There's also options for either Wi-Fi-only, or LTE connectivity too.

In use, we found the Surface Go to be quite a nice device. For basic use, it seemed quick and easy to use. Of course, it's important to go into using the device with tempered expectations — it's not a powerhouse like the new iPad, so don't expect to much more than basic working, a few basic games, and so on. Word processing was easy with Microsoft's suite of Office 365 apps, and you'll find it easy to keep several tabs open in your web browser — which will need to be Edge unless you make the switch to Windows 10 Home.

Read more: Microsoft has revealed its Black Friday deals for the Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, and Xbox One

The Surface Go also has a few accessories, though you'll need to buy them separately.

We found that all of the accessories worked very well with the device — the Alcantara keyboard, for starters, felt quite nice. The keys were a little small, but they're about as big as they possibly could be on a tablet this size, and they offered a good amount of travel and a nice, clicky feel.

The Microsoft Surface Pen also worked quite well with the device. If you're a serious artist looking for a digital device to take your art to a new level, we recommend the more expensive Surface Pro or the iPad Pro, but the Surface Go is still more than capable for some things. The Surface Pen in general is a great device — it offers 4,096 levels of sensitivity, tilt support, and more, making it one of the better options for a stylus on a tablet. Ultimately, many consider the Apple Pencil to be a better option — but for the Apple Pencil you also have to buy a much more expensive device.

Ultimately, the Microsoft Surface Go is one of the best work-focused portable tablets out there.

It's a solid option for those who type a lot, though you will have to pay extra for the Alcantara keyboard. It's a great way to get a desktop-class operating system in a portable and inexpensive device — though keep in mind that you will need to upgrade to Windows 10 Home if you want to download third-party apps from the web. If, however, you need processing power, then we recommend instead opting for the slightly more expensive Surface Pro, or considering buying an iPad.

Buy the base model Microsoft Surface Go for $349 (normally $399) at the Microsoft Store and Amazon [You save $50 until November 24]

Black Friday deals sold out at stores like Walmart and Target before Friday even began — and people are furious

nintendo switch

  • Major Black Friday deals, such as the Nintendo Switch and Instant Pot, have already sold out before Thanksgiving Day is over, infuriating shoppers.
  • Retailers like Walmart, Target, and GameStop all sold out of some major deals quickly on Thanksgiving Day.
  • Online sales on Wednesday and Thursday hit record highs this year, with shoppers spending $2.4 billion online on Wednesday — a whopping 31.8% increase from 2017.

Black Friday is starting earlier than ever. And, as a result, some of the biggest deals are selling out before Thanksgiving Day is over.

Wednesday and Thursday — Thanksgiving Day — proved that Black Friday sales begin far before Friday, especially as shoppers move online. Shoppers spent $2.4 billion online on Wednesday, a whopping 31.8% increase from 2017, according to Adobe Analytics data.

By 10 a.m. Thursday morning, shoppers had spent another $406 million online. By 5 p.m., they'd spent $1.75 billion, representing 28.6% growth compared to last year.

And, with massive spending, some of the biggest deals of the holiday season have already sold out.

By Thursday evening, the Nintendo Switch sold out at Target and GameStop, according to BlackFriday.com. Walmart, Target, and GameStop quickly sold out of the PlayStation 4. And, Instant Pot sold out from Walmart and Target.

In some cases, these deals were marketed as doorbusters, and expected to sell out quickly because of their limited quantity. However, for some of the biggest deals to sell out before Friday even began rubbed many shoppers the wrong way.

To paraphrase one shopper, it is strange to see Black Friday deals sell out on Thursday.

Whether items sold out instantly or as Thanksgiving Day went on, shoppers weren't happy to miss out on deals.

Companies also faced technical difficulties due to the boost in early traffic. Retailers including Walmart, Lululemon, and GameStop all dealt with website issues on Wednesday and Thursday.

Walmart says it's offering thousands more deals than last year on Cyber Monday in a direct shot at Amazon's most valuable day (WMT)

Walmart Cyber Monday

  • Walmart is upping its game this Cyber Monday.
  • The retailer says it's increasing the number of deals its offering by thousands and will have more inventory.
  • Though it is not always as popular as Black Friday, Cyber Monday is still predicted to be the largest online sales day for the entire year.
  • Last year, Cyber Monday marked Amazon's largest sales in a single day ever, so Walmart clearly sees an opportunity here.

Though Black Friday gets all of the attention, Cyber Monday is nothing to sneeze at — it's got deals, too.

Walmart says it will be offering more deals than ever on the Monday after Thanksgiving week this year. Scott Hilton, chief revenue officer for Walmart US e-commerce, promised "thousands" more deals on Cyber Monday this year when compared with Walmart's deals last year.

Its deals include $100 off an iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, $70 off a Dyson handheld vacuum, and a free Mario + Rabbits Kingdom Battle game with the purchase of a Nintendo Switch.

Hilton also said that Walmart has prepared more inventory this year on some of the deals it's offering in toys, home, and electronics.

Read more:Shoppers using smartphones under the dinner table have made Thanksgiving one of the biggest days for online shopping

Cyber Monday is seen as second fiddle to the main holiday shopping event that is Black Friday, but the revenue generated from its sales is significant for online retailers. The day is still projected to be the largest day for online sales in the holiday season, with $7.8 billion in sales, according to Adobe Analytics.

Walmart clearly sees an opportunity here.

Amazon, its chief competitor online, announced that Cyber Monday 2017 was its largest single sales day ever. Prime Day in 2018 surpassed it as an event, though that lasted 36 hours, so it's likely Cyber Monday still holds the crown for a single-day event.

  • Two policemen have been killed and one security guard has been injured after gunmen opened fire at the Chinese consulate in the Pakistani city of Karachi, according to local officials.
  • One attacker has been killed and a suicide jacket was recovered, according to reports.
  • According to BBC Urdu, initial reports explosions were heard inside the consulate.

Two policemen have been killed and one security guard has been injured after gunmen opened fire at the Chinese consulate in the Pakistani city of Karachi, according to local officials.

"We have two cops brought dead and security guard injured due to blast impact," Seemin Jamali, a doctor at the Jinnah Hospital in Karachi, told Reuters Friday.

Pakistani insurgent group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack, Reuters said. They claimed that three suicide bombers stormed the consulate Friday morning around 10:30 am local time.

"China is exploiting our resources," the group's leader told Reuters.

It is unclear if Chinese officials were harmed in the attack.

One attacker has been killed and a suicide jacket recovered, New York Times correspondent Salman Masood reported on Twitter, citing a senior Karachi official.

According to BBC Urdu, initial reports indicated that explosions were heard inside the consulate. Unverified video and photos circulating online show smoke apparently from the blast billowing into the air from the building.

A large police presence was noted at the consulate, the BBC added.

The port city of Karachi is Pakistan’s largest city and a financial hub. It has experienced waves of political and social unrest for years.

China's stock markets are increasingly desperate to lure foreign investors and this latest move just might do the trick

$

Shanghai exchange models china

  • China has finally announced changes that should cut down the unusually high number of its listed companies that jump off the bourse when they get a bad feeling about the direction of their share prices.
  • The practice alienates foreign investors and has left millions of Chinese mum and dad shareholders out of pocket.
  • Last year, according to Caixin, 69 Shanghai-listed companies suspended trading every single day, on average.
  • The move comes as Beijing gropes for injections of momentum as the rate of growth in the world's second-largest economy starts to slow.
  • The Shanghai Stock Exchange  ( 上海证券交易所 ) issued draft rules on Wednesday that, if confirmed, should dramatically decrease the amount of time that shares are placed in a trading halt.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange has released long-awaited draft changes to stop listed companies from simply halting trade in their shares whenever they get a feeling that the market is going to turn on them.

China is increasingly anxious to attract foreign investment as the rate of growth in the world's second-largest economy cools, partly as it feels the impact of US tariffs.

The new rules are a major move in a regulatory crackdown on the abuse of what was a common practice that peaked in 2017 and not left serious foreign investors disillusioned but left Chinese mum and dad shareholders out of pocket.

Beijing is struggling to attract foreign banks and financial investment to try and balance out increasing capital outflow pressures. If the new proposals are confirmed, they should dramatically cut the time that shares can be arbitrarily placed in a trading halt.

Fang Xinghai, a vice-chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), said China's financial sector and its capital market, which are more or less shielded by a closed capital account, were failing to connect with the rest of the world.

“Foreign investment accounts for just 2 per cent of the total value of the A-share market … so we need to open it up further,”  The South China Morning Post quoted Fang as saying on the domestic broadcaster China Business Network.

Chinese stocks tipped into a bear market this year as relations between Washington and Beijing continued to deteriorate amid a climate of economic confrontation.

The Shanghai Composite has fallen around 20% this year -  an unnerving experience for the ordinary Chinese investors that have been coaxed and cajoled by state media to invest in Chinese listed companies.

China’s stock market hit a two-year low in June around the same time that US President Donald Trump escalated trade tensions by flagging further tariffs on Chinese goods.

The entire Shanghai draft rules are available here.

Putting the house in order

China housing

The major Chinese exchange has put forward that trading halts for corporate restructuring should last for 10 days tops, with a further option of applying for an extension, with suspensions stretching out to 25 days if necessary for the disclosure of documents or the supply of more information, according to Caixin.

The current rules give companies up to three months for restructuring and that's where the problems have been festering.

China desperately wants to put a lid on its listed companies putting their shares in a trading halt when the market turns against them.

Such suspensions have often been used by companies as a pretty convenient on/off switch to be hit at leisure whenever any bad news threatens to upset the market.

Such suspensions can drag on until the clouds have lifted, sometimes for months at a time.

The move effectively locks up a shareholders money in stock that they can't even sell because its no longer even a part of the moving market.

Last year, according to Caixin, shares of 69 Shanghai-listed companies were suspended on average every day.

This represents around 5% of all the companies listed for 2017.

According to Caixin calculations, this number has more recently been whittled down to about 10, or 0.7% of the total, on an average day.

Earlier this month, the CSRC first announced plans to stiffen the rules for share suspensions. These latest draft rules are the next iteration of the CSRC cracking down on the kind of practices that unnerve foreigners and ensure China's equity markets remain a bit of a wild west for investors.

Chinese regulators and the officials that pressure them are well aware that in August Chinese shares ceded their ranking as the no. 2 stock market in the world to Japan.

While China's stocks eclipsed Japan in market value almost four years ago to the day, both markets are now worth around $6.1 to $6.2 trillion.

To place that into some context, the US stock market, easily the world's largest, is valued at around $31 trillion.

Unsurprisingly then the ugly spectacle of what outside investors see as the wholesale abuse of trading suspensions has become a focal point for regulators and is regularly cited as an exemplification of why China's stock markets have failed to achieve the global legitimacy they have yearned for so long.

During 2015’s market crash, more than half of the companies trading on China’s two stock exchanges halted trading, according to Caixin.

The long march to legitimacy

China US trade expo

After a series of rejections, the addition of 226 Chinese A-shares into the widely watched MSCI Emerging Markets Index in June represented years of of toil on the part of Chinese administrators and officials.

Starting in 2014, bids for inclusion from Beijing were rejected three times during MSCI’s annual reviews.

MSCI called out the ease of trading stoppages as a major obstacle for the international acceptance of the Chinese stock exchanges.

According to the draft released on Wednesday, there will be the usual exceptions to the rule - any national strategic projects or confidential military matters will be played by ear.

Trading halts for most other reasons, such as preparing for the transfer of controlling shares, should last no more than two days, with the option of applying for an extension to five days.

In principle, the drafts signal the end of trading halts caused by natural market forces - bankruptcy restructuring for example - although if deemed necessary the company can still apply for one.

The get out of jail free clause

And just in case, Caixin also reports that if the stock exchange or the CSRC agrees that a company's risks could flow through and significantly impact market order, then the message was: come see us about a suspension.

Like most shopping holidays, Amazon's take on Black Friday is massive, overwhelming, and potentially extremely fruitful for the skilled discount-hunter. There are thousands of deals — with more dropping and selling out by the minute. Among them are deep discounts on the company's tech devices, including the Echo Look.

Right now, Amazon has the Echo Look listed for $49.99— a rare 75% discount from its original $199.99 price. The device is basically Amazon's hands-free, Alexa-enabled stylist. It uses head-to-toe photos of the user and six-second videos to compare outfits to determine which looks better and why. It also recommends items to go with clothes that you already own, and automatically organizes your wardrobe by weather, occasion, season, and more.

You can view outfits from every angle, select favorites, share with friends, and keep an ongoing lookbook to browse and compare outfits in the future or get personalized pairing ideas.

Amazon Echo Look app

In other words, it's a voice-activated stylist that makes recommendations, lets you see and share 360-degree videos of outfits, and compare choices to see which are objectively the most flattering.

If you're thinking of picking one up, now is likely going to be the best time of the year. For more Amazon discounts, check out our master-list here

How emerging markets will transform the future of online shopping

$

This is a preview of a research report from Business Insider Intelligence, Business Insider's premium research service. To learn more about Business Insider Intelligence, click here.

Emerging markets are going to be essential for e-commerce growth, as retailers in developed markets may soon reach saturation in terms of consumer growth.

APAC CAGR

For example, almost half of US households now have a Prime membership, diminishing Amazon's growth potential in the country. Meanwhile, in China, the world's largest e-commerce market, nearly half of the population is actively making online purchases, leaving little room for growth.

However, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America are worth keeping an eye on. E-commerce penetration rates in these areas hover between 2-6%, presenting a huge opportunity for future growth as online sales gain traction. Moreover, these regions are expected to grow at compound annual growth rates (CAGRs) of 31%, 32%, and 16%, respectively, through 2021.

This report compiles several e-commerce snapshots, which together highlight the most notable emerging markets in various regions. Each provides an overview of the e-commerce industry in a particular country, discusses influential retailers, and provides insights into the opportunities and challenges for that specific domestic industry.

Here are some of the key takeaways:

  • Emerging markets are going to be essential for e-commerce growth, as retailers in developed markets may soon reach saturation in terms of consumer growth.
  • India is the clear overall leader in e-commerce potential, but countries in Southeast Asia and Latin America are also worth keeping an eye on. Within Southeast Asia, Indonesia shows the most promise for retailers, as the government is loosening restrictions on foreign investments, and its massive population is gaining spending power and more access to internet. Meanwhile, Mexico is a retailer's best bet for expansion in Latin America, due to its stable economy and rising middle class, but Brazil may be gearing up to steal the top spot.
  • However, doing business in these regions can be difficult. In most of these emerging markets, infrastructure is underdeveloped and the population is largely unbanked, making digital payments a challenge.
  • If retailers can build a brand presence in these markets while online shopping is still in its nascent stages, they may become market leaders as e-commerce takes off in the regions. Moreover, these markets could provide new sources of growth for companies that would otherwise stagnate in more mature e-commerce markets.

 In full, the report:

  • Explores the e-commerce industry in India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
  • Highlights the leading country in each region, as well as key e-commerce players there.
  • Outlines the challenges and opportunities each region faces.
  • Gives insight into how these emerging markets may shape the future of e-commerce.

NFL WEEK 12: Our official predictions for who wins this weekend

$

cam newton

Gambling is not for the faint of heart.

Last week, we lost two bets by half a point, and two more by less than a field goal. Our rough year just keeps getting rougher.

That said, the only way to turn things around is to keep on picking, so let's get to the action on Sunday.

Take a look below for our predictions for who covers this weekend (* indicates home team).

LAST WEEK: 5-7-1
OVERALL: 64-91-5

Buffalo Bills* (+3) over Jacksonville Jaguars

Despite their horrid offense, the Bills have the second-best defense in the league according to DVOA, and have played respectably at home in most games this year. After their bye week, Josh Allen is back as the team's starting quarterback for better or for worse, but given the Jaguars recent woes, let's have faith in the home dogs.

Cleveland Browns (+3) over Cincinnati Bengals*

Poetic justice would be Baker Mayfield throwing for 400 yards and four touchdowns while staring daggers at Hue Jackson on the Bengals sidelines. If Cleveland can pull off the upset, it will be the first time the Browns have won back-to-back games since 2014.

New York Jets* (+10) over New England Patriots

No matter how bad they are any given season, the New York Jets always seem to find a way to keep things close in at least one of their games against the Patriots. And even if that wasn't the case, in the interest of ending our cold streak of bets, the best course of action is to follow the rules and take the double-digit home underdog. It's like hitting on 16 in blackjack.

National security experts offered their messages of support.

"Michael Hayden is one of this country's noblest patriots, dedicating his life to America's national security," former CIA director John Brennan said on Twitter. "A man of tremendous integrity, intellect, & decency, he has been a role model for countless intelligence professionals over several decades. Speedy recovery, Mike."

"On behalf of the men & women of CIA, I want to wish Gen. Hayden a speedy recovery," CIA director Gina Haspel said in a statement. "Mike's long career of public service & commitment to national security continue to be an inspiration to all intelligence officers. Our thoughts are with Mike, Jeanine, & their family."

Hayden, who regularly appears on CNN as a national security analyst, has become an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump's administration. In August, Trump was reportedly weighing the possibility of revoking Hayden's security clearance in addition to other former White House and Justice Department senior officials who publicly criticized his policies.

How advances in edge computing are addressing key problems in the healthcare, telecommunications, and automotive sectors

$

This is a preview of a research report from Business Insider Intelligence, Business Insider's premium research service. To learn more about Business Insider Intelligence, click here.

Edge computing solutions are key tools that help companies grapple with rising data volumes across industries. These types of solutions are critical in allowing companies to gain more control over the data their IoT devices create and in reducing their reliance on (and the costs of) cloud computing.

edge popularity

These systems are becoming more sought-after — 40% of companies that provide IoT solutions reported that edge computing came up more in discussion with customers in 2017 than the year before, according to Business Insider Intelligence’s 2017 Global IoT Executive Survey. But companies need to know whether they should look into edge computing solutions, and what in particular they can hope to gain from shifting data processing and analysis from the cloud to the edge.

There are three particular types of problems that edge computing solutions are helping to combat across industries:

  • Security issues. Edge computing can limit the exposure of critical data by minimizing how often it’s transmitted. Further, they pre-process data, so there’s less data to secure overall.
  • Access issues. These systems help to provide live insights regardless of whether there’s a network connection available, greatly expanding where companies and organizations can use connected devices and the data they generate.
  • Transmission efficiency. Edge computing solutions process data where it’s created so less needs to be sent to the cloud, leading to lower cloud storage requirements and reduced transmission cost.

In this report, Business Insider Intelligence examines how edge computing is reducing companies' reliance on cloud computing in three key industries: healthcare, telecommunications, and the automotive space. We explore how these systems mitigate issues in each sector by helping to efficiently process growing troves of data, expanding the potential realms of IoT solutions a company can offer, and bringing enhanced computing capability to remote and mobile platforms.

Here are some key takeaways from the report:

  • In healthcare, companies and organizations are using edge computing to improve telemedicine and remote monitoring capabilities.
  • For telecommunications companies, edge computing is helping to reduce network congestion and enabling a shift toward the IoT platform market.
  • And in the automotive space, edge computing systems are enabling companies to increase the capabilities of connected cars and trucks and approach autonomy.

In full, the report:

  • Explores the key advantages edge computing solutions can provide.
  • Highlights the circumstances when companies should look into edge systems.
  • Identifies key vendors and partners in specific industries while showcasing case studies of successful edge computing programs.
